PFS-220 configuration brief
Request models, target envelope, signal-chain inputs and acceptance checklist. Planning document; not a released product datasheet.
Download brief (PDF) ↓ENGINEERING RESOURCES / DOCUMENT STATUS
Download a configuration brief before your RFQ. Approved manufacturing drawings, STEP and issued calibration records are requested against a specific model and revision.

Download synthetic example (CSV) ↓Open the local CSV viewer →| Document | Current status | What to request |
|---|---|---|
| Configuration brief / blank worksheets | Available planning documents above | Fill the model, fixture, electronics and acceptance requirements |
| Released PFS dimensioned drawing / STEP | Not yet published as an approved manufacturing file | Exact request code, capacity, thread version, mounting and drawing revision |
| Issued calibration / eccentric-load report | No PFS measured certificate published | Serial number, loaded points + zero, direction, fixture, output, uncertainty and traceability |
| ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration | Scope and provider must be reviewed | Named laboratory, accreditation scope, range, uncertainty and certificate terms |
| CAN DBC / trigger interface definition | Configuration-specific engineering deliverable | Bit rate, IDs / PGNs, scaling, timestamp, supply, polarity, threshold and latency |
CONNECTOR / CABLE RELEASE
| Termination request | Information needed before wiring approval |
|---|---|
| Flying leads / 4-wire bridge | E+, E−, S+, S−, shield termination, bridge resistance and excitation limit |
| 6-wire bridge | E±, S± and sense ±; confirm local sense links when using a 4-wire input |
| DB9 male / female | Instrument model, full pin schedule, gender, view and shield / case policy — there is no universal DB9 sensor pinout |
| LEMO / PT02E / PRC03 | Exact connector and mating part, keying, pin count and sensor-receptacle versus cable-mating view |
| Analog / CAN / USB electronics | Supply and common reference; signal scaling / message map; never connect conditioned outputs as a raw bridge |
Wire colors are not universal. Original LAU220 WC1 and LAU200 CC4 definitions can be checked in the source drawings below; they are not automatically a PFS cable release.
CALIBRATION REQUEST / ZERO + FIVE LOADED POINTS
Request zero plus 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 100% loads, actual reference forces, output and units, repeated cycles, unloading values, hysteresis and zero return. These are proposed points, not measurements.
State contact offset, angle, four quadrant directions, fixture and force levels. A 15.9 mm comparison offset can be requested where geometry permits; no <0.5% PFS result is asserted.
Request serial numbers, environment, reference standards, calibration chain, uncertainty basis, as-found / as-left condition and any accreditation scope. An empty worksheet is not a calibration certificate.
Use original documents to identify an installed unit. These are third-party reference files, not PFS CAD.
